Jackson County Liquor Advisory Board met Feb. 18.

Call to Order (5:00 PM)
Members Present: Larkin, Lindsey, Scerena and Turk
Members Absent: Calandro

Approval of Minutes
I. 20-4822 Approval of November 19, 2019 minutes
A motion was made by Sheriff's Department Representative Lindsey, seconded by Health Department Representative Scerena, to approve the November, 19, 2019 minutes as presented. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

II. 20-4823 SSP Cave, LLC License Application
Turk questioned if Parrish was the owner of SSP Cave and whether or not he was licensed to do business in Illinois. Parrish assured the committee he was. Lindsey inquired about the business's parking capacity and noise concerns. Parrish commented on how he would potentially handle the situations. Scerena questioned the ordinance since there was no physical structure on the property to serve the public. Larkin suggested the committee work on adjusting the ordinance to define this particular place of business.
A motion was made by State's Attorney's Office Representative Turk, seconded by Sheriff's Department Representative Lindsey, to approve the liquor license application as presented today. The motion carried by unanimous vote.
