Carterville Water and Sewer Department recently issued the following announcement.
While making the final connections for the large Carterville Ward 1 water line replacement project, portions of Ward 1 will experience low water pressure during the daytime hours of Tuesday, March 10th through Friday, March 13th. After the pressure is decreased, a boil water order will be issued. The areas effected will be inside the areas of West Grand from Cannon Drive to Division, North Division to Anne West Lindsey Library, West of the Library along the line of Farris Street to Dent Street, and Dent to and including Cottonwood Drive. Attached is a map of the effected area. The few residences that are involved, but outside the map boundary, had informational door hangers placed today.
