Murphysboro home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Murphysboro rose by $12,750 while total sales increased by 19%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $60,750 - a 26.6% increase over the $48,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Murphysboro in the first quarter of 2018.
