Murphysboro home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Murphysboro rose by $5,093 while total sales decreased by 9.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 56 homes sold, with a median sale price of $62,875 - a 8.8% increase over the $57,782 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Murphysboro in the first half of 2018.
