The Board of Education meeting was called to order by President Paul Copeland at 7:04 p.m. with the following members present:

 Copeland, Martin, Smith, Galloway, Shackleton

Member(s) absent: none

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Matt Shackleton, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Matt Shackleton, to approve the minutes of the Reorganization

Board Meeting on April 29, 2019, as presented. Motion carried.

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Tommie Smith, to approve the minutes of the Regular Board

Meeting on April 29, 2019, as presented. Motion carried.

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Fern Martin, to authorize the payment of bills as presented. Roll call vote:

Public Comment: Mr. Wilson gave praises to the music contest ratings and state track meet.

Motion made by Tommie Smith, seconded by Fern Martin, to enter into closed session at 7:18 p.m. to discuss personnel and board vacancies. Roll call vote:

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Tommie Smith, to come out of closed session at 7:51 p.m. Roll call vote:

2020 school year: Kent Buckles, Kaylyn Colon, Tiffany Farel, Sara Hanshaw, Megan Harrison, Amanda Hobbs, Pat Jones, Dorris McKee, Tim Sears, Tom Smith, Christine Snyder, Erin Tarrants, Amy Taylor, Ceila Tripp, and Nichole Tripp. Roll call vote:

Motion made by Tommie Smith, seconded by Rick Galloway, to dismiss Kelsie Griffin as part-time kitchen worker at the conclusion of the 2018-2019 school year. Roll call vote:
