Desoto Consolidated School District 86 Board met April 29.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

The Board of Education meeting was called to order by President Paul Copeland at 7:16 p.m. with the following members present:

Copeland, Martin, Galloway, Shackleton

Member(s) absent: Smith

Motion made by Fern Martin, seconded by Rick Galloway, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Matt Shackleton, to approve the minutes of the Regular Board Meeting on March 25, 2019, as presented. Motion carried.

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Matt Shackleton, to authorize the payment of bills as presented.

Paul Copeland read a letter written and signed by numerous DEA members in support of Mr. Wilson.

Motion made by Rick Galloway, seconded by Matt Shackleton, to establish the following board meeting dates in 2019: May 20, June 24, July 22, August 26, September 23, October 28, November 25, and December 16. Motion carried.
