Sallie Logan Public Library Board of Trustees met April 4.

Vic Harris called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Jan Kerr, Jeanne Goforth, Sara Faye Marten, Debbie Martin, Madeline Steimle, Vic Harris and Bill Center
MEMBERS ABSENT: Debbie Tindall and Don Gladden
VISITORS PRESENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Loretta Broomfield, Library Director
MINUTES: Bill Center made a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. The motion was seconded by Jan Kerr. Roll Call Vote: Jan Kerr-Aye, Bill Center -Aye, Debbie Martin-Aye, Sara Faye Marten-Aye, Madeline Steimle-Ay and Jeanne Goforth-Aye. The motion carried.
FINANCIAL REVIEW: Reviewed and discussed. STATISTICAL REVIEW: Reviewed and discussed. OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS: The Telescope Loan Policy was read and reviewed. Jeanne Goforth made a motion to approve the loan policy with Borrower’s signature added. The motion was seconded by Sara Faye Marten. Roll Call Vote: Jan Kerr-Aye, Bill Center -Aye, Debbie Martin-Aye, Sara Faye Marten-Aye, Madeline Steimle-Ay and Jeanne Goforth-Aye. The motion carried.
Proposal for Circulation Clerk Position: Proposed Changes are that we will replace one full-time person with 1950 hours a year with two part-time people with a maximum of 852 hours each. Loretta to add the second person as needed and hours adjusted as needed or cut. Jeanne Goforth made a motion to approve the changes to the Circulation Clerk position. The motion was seconded by Madeline Steimle. Roll Call Vote: Jan Kerr-Aye, Bill Center -Aye, Debbie Martin-Aye, Sara Faye Marten-Aye, Madeline Steimle-Ay and Jeanne Goforth-Aye. The motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: Personnel – Presented the salaries for the May 2019 – April 2020 Fiscal Year.
Building and Grounds: A meeting was set to discuss the gardens.
