The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Margo McDermed (R-37) on Feb. 7, "commemorates the 100th anniversary of the ratification by the State of Illinois of the Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States on June 10, 2019," according to the General Assembly website.
