Johnston City Community Unit School District 1 Board met March 18.

President Chris Cullum called the meeting to order and asked the clerk for the attendance roll call.

Present: Chad Barras, John Etherton, Patti Martin, Greg Smiley, Keven Stroud, and Chris Cullum
Absent: Randy Brymer
Motion made by Greg Smiley and seconded by Chad Barras to approve the consent agenda consisting of the following:
A. Approval of Regular and Closed Session Minutes of the 2/19/19 Regular Meeting
B. Approval of Treasurer’s Report
C. Approval of Bills for Payment
D. Approval of IHSA 2019-2020 Membership

Motion Carried.
Motion made by John Etherton and seconded by Keven Stroud to approve an increase in the substitute teacher pay to $100 per day.

Mrs. Clark informed the Board that she had received a FOIA request from WANRack requesting the scoring and pricing from the E-Rate WAN bids.
Motion made by Chad Barras and seconded by Patti Martin to accept the certified staff evaluations as presented.

Motion made by Keven Stroud and seconded by Greg Smiley to accept the resignation of Victoria Scott as a Kindergarten Teacher at Jefferson School effective at the end of the 2018-2019 school year.

Motion made by Patti Martin and seconded by Greg Smiley to accept the resignation of Amanda Stanley as a Lincoln School ESSA Aide effective at eh end of the 2018-2019 school year.

Motion made by Keven Stroud and seconded by Chad Barras to accept the resignation of Rhea Korte as the Washington Middle School Parent Liaison.

Motion made by Keven Stroud and seconded by Patti Martin to accept the resignation of Lisa Kunkel as the Jefferson School Crossing Guard and as a Jefferson School Noon Hour Aide.

Motion made by Keven Stroud and seconded by John Etherton to employ Laura Borger as a High School English Language Arts Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.

Motion made by Chad Barras and seconded by Keven Stroud to employ Tiffany Dobraski as a 5-8 Math Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year.
