Jackson County Liquor Advisory Board met Feb. 26.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Call to Order (5:30 PM)

Members Present: Endres, Larkin, Lindsey, Mileur, S. Bost and Williams

Also Present: Andrew Erbes, Sarah Patrick

Approval of Minutes

I. 19-4022 November 21, 2018 Minutes

A motion was made by S. Bost, seconded by Legislative Chair Endres, to approve the November 21, 2018 minutes as presented. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

New Business

II. 19-4023 Union County License holder event in Jackson County

Erbes asked about Giant City Lodge doing an event at SIU. He was informed that the City of Carbondale handles the liquor licenses for SIU and Giant City Lodge should contact them.

III. 19-4024 Kinkaid Lake Application

A motion was made by S. Bost, seconded by Legislative Chair Endres, to approve the liquor license for Kinkaid Lake Marina pending receipt of an updated Insurance Certificate with the correct address and the health department number. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

IV. 19-4025 Makanda Inn Application

A motion was made by S. Bost, seconded by Legislative Chair Endres, to approve the Makanda Inn liquor license for 2019. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

V. 19-4026 Old Tin Barn Application

A motion was made by Legislative Chair Endres, seconded by Health Department

Representative Williams, to approve the liquor license for The Old Tin Barn pending receipt of their Insurance Certificate, their Health Department number and payment. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

Adjourn (5:38 PM)

S. Bost moved and Endres seconded to adjourn, motion carried.
