Murphysboro home prices rise in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Murphysboro rose by $6,500 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,000 - a 8.5% increase over the $76,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Murphysboro in August 2017.
