Carbondale home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Carbondale rose by $28,000 while total sales decreased by 26.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $135,000 - a 26.2% increase over the $107,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Carbondale in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Carbondale for 2017 was $2,701. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,701, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
