De Soto home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in De Soto rose by $14,100 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $52,050 - a 37.2% increase over the $37,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in De Soto in May 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in De Soto for 2017 was $1,754. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,754, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.4%.
