Makanda home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Makanda rose by $145,312.50 while total sales increased by 300%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $221,000 - a 192% increase over the $75,687.50 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Makanda in the third quarter of 2016.
