Extra Help, Inc.recently issued the following announcement.

HireLevel strives to extend their support and gratitude to local charitable organizations throughout the year as part of their mission to encourage their employees to give back to their communities. The #HireLevelDifference campaign challenges HireLevel team members to donate their time and resources to give back to women’s centers, pet shelters, and more each month. With November being a month that many people associate with giving thanks, HireLevel would like to highlight an organization that many in the Evansville area are thankful for year round.

Holly’s House is a leader in preventing intimate crime by providing a safe location for victims and their families to seek help and report the incident. It was founded in 2008 by Holly Dunn Pendleton – who is herself a survivor of such crimes – and Detective Brian Turpin.

Pendleton wanted to use her own experiences as a tool to assist others. Holly’s House assists both adult and child victims, interviewing them and helping aid them to report crimes in a comforting, supportive environment. The setup is specifically designed to combat the vulnerability and fear a victim might feel making an official report at the police department. The organization is also a key player in raising awareness of intimate crime within their community.

HireLevel raised $1,585 for Holly’s House through their charitable giving challenge but implores readers to get involved with this hugely impactful organization through their own donations or volunteering. For more information on supporting Holly’s House, please visit: https://www.hollyshouse.org/
