TOUCH OF NATURE ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER: Certified Interpretive Guide Training to be held Nov 2 – 5

Touch of Nature Environmental Center recently issued the following announcement.

Touch of Nature partners with the National Association of Interpretation to present a training course for individuals in the field of interpretive guide training.

This 32-hour course is ideal for individuals who deliver interpretive programs or have contact with the public at interpretive sites. Those attending have the option of taking the course and adding a certification as a Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG), or taking the course without certification. The cost of the course is $250 and $150 to add the certification.

The course is taught by Bob Carter, a professional educator with 35 years experience as a heritage interpreter, and as an outdoor and environmental educator.
