School discipline: Which Carbondale districts reported the most tobacco-related suspensions?

Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186, Marion Community Unit School District 2 and Crab Orchard Community Unit School District 3 were among those in Illinois that reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to tobacco during the 2016-17 school year in Carbondale, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
