Marion Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach is a faithful retelling of the beloved children's book. It features music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul who also did the music for "The Greatest Showman" and "Dear Evan Hansen." James is sent to live with his evil aunts, Spiker and Sponge. In an attempt to escape he uses a magic potion and rides a giant peach to New York City with his new family, who all happen to be bugs. This whimsical tale is sure to please all audiences, young and old alike! Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach is most definitely a family friendly event!
Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach will be performed at Marion Cultural and Civic Center on September 7, 8 and 9. Tickets are on sale now at marionccc.org or at the box office. Friday, September 7 at 7PM, Saturday, September 8 at 7 PM and Sunday, September 9 at 2 PM.
