Carbondale Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Caritas Family Solutions is hosting a Denim & Diamonds Dinner Saturday, October 13, 2018, at The Pavilion, 1602 Sioux Dr. in Marion, Illinois. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a buffet dinner served until 7:30 p.m. Guests are invited to dress up or dress in denim. Tickets are $55 per individual or $100 per couple and include two drink tickets, dinner and an event t-shirt. Reservations are required by September 28, 2018 and can be made online at weblink.donorperfect.com/ddd18.

This second annual fundraising event will support the agency’s efforts to strengthen well-being in the community with professional social services that empower individuals and families to reach their full potential.

Dinner by Crystal’s Catering will include a buffet of beef brisket, Malibu chicken, pasta primavera, roasted red potatoes, green beans, salad and rolls. Dessert includes cookies and cupcakes from Cakes by Ally. The evening will also feature silent & live auctions, raffles, and music provided by Club VIP DJ Services.

Event sponsors to date include Club VIP DJ Services, Ervin Cable Construction,
