Carbondale Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
When Don Taco moved down the street, to 780 East Grand, they added color and vibrancy to the streetscape. The Keep Carbondale Beautiful Board gave it this month’s Bright Spot award. In addition to the color, nominators also commented on the beautiful stonework, starting at the base of the sign, on walls, and continued indoors to great effect. Manager Victor Paneda said that the idea was to be welcoming and inviting. That’s also the case with the bike rack, located right by the front door.
The Keep Carbondale Beautiful, Inc., Board selects businesses or residences to receive the Bright Spot Award for enhancing the beauty of our community by means of revitalization of property, new construction, plantings and beautification, upkeep and maintenance, or rehabilitation.
