Jackson County Liquor Advisory Board met March 28.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

Call to Order (5:00 PM)

Members Present: Blomer, Endres, J. S. Rendleman, O'Leary, S. Bost and Williams

Members Absent: Larkin

Approval of Minutes

I. 18-3246 November 16, 2017 Minutes

A motion was made by Larkin, seconded by O'Leary, to approve the November 16, 2017 minutes as presented. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

II. 18-3247 Increase in Dram Shop Insurance amount

The Board discussed the current liquor liability insurance requirements. Blomer stated that the ordinance in accordance with state law. Larkin inquired about what prompted this discussion and whether the liquor board should be concerned as long as the current requirements meet state law. The Board reviewed current applications and most applicants exceed the minimum requirements already. This will be continue to be discussed at the next meeting.

III. 18-3248 2019 License Application Changes

The Board was asked to review the 2019 application to see if changes should be made to make it easier to understand. There were several formatting issues that the committee coordinator will address. This item will be discussed at the next meeting.
