Citizen Comments
Loraine Lee of the Makanda Inn & Cottages and Shawnee Wine Trail LodgingAssociation asked if the county would be interested in their support to help them promote tourism in Jackson County. They were directed to the Real Property Committee for any consideration. Chairman Rendleman assured them consideration and asked them to submitted their proposal to him.

Communications
Agency Reports
A. Erbes reported on the first UCCI meeting and among other issues discussed wassexual harassment. Publications on this can be found in the board office. He reported on an auditing change in state legislature that was proposed. The next UCCI is a legislative reception and education seminar that will be held February 27& 28, 2018 in Springfield and in April the UCCI leadership academy will meet.
T. Mueller presented a letter to the board and reported on JCGA strategic plan that will define some of their 2018 financial and economic goals.
J.Peterson reported on GERPC
Chairman Report
Chairman Rendleman reported that the four-lane coalition met in Pinckneyville and will be filing a bill to create a taskforce "the Southwest Illinois Corridor". If this project is going to be funded they need to push to get their mission out.
Rendleman also reported that the four 911 dispatch centers will be consolidated into one center in the next year or two.
Approval of Consent Agenda
D. Bost asked that the Delinquent Tax Resolution be considered with Finance & Administration business.
A motion was made by D.Bost, seconded by S.Bost, to approve the amended Consent Agenda. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

Delinquent Tax Resolutions
D. Bost asked about the taxes for these properties not being paid. He would like to see more information on these properties for the board to make more informal decisions. Sharon Harris-Johnson's office does provide a booklet on these properties. After consideration the following motion was made.
A motion was made by D.Bost, seconded by Larkin, to approve the Delinquent Tax Resolution No.2018-01 through 2018-34 per the Consent Agenda. The motion carried by unanimous vote.

XVIII. 18-3111 150th Memorial Day Celebration funding
A motion was made by Peterson, seconded by Erbes, to approve the funding of $3,500 for the celebration with the money coming out of the Hotel Tax fund. The motion carried by unanimous vote.
XIX. 18-3112 Approval of variance contingent on the Health Department re-inspection for Butler Land Division; Parcel# 19-08-401-020, 021
A motion was made by Peterson, seconded by Larkin, to approve the va riance. The motion carried by the following vote:
