There were no employee concerns expressed. Under Public comments, James Leaton stated that the reason for the special meeting started with bullying between two students which entailed a false police report being made. This escalated into the police showing up at a party where no tickets were issued. He further stated he didn’t like the way the administration drilled and intimidated the students at school without the parents present.

Bert Ozburn questioned why a student who has continually bullied his granddaughter has not been punished and further the last act of bullying was a premediated phone call to the sheriff’s department which caused a deputy to check out a residence with high school students. Why would the administration only interview the students at the party and not the one that lied during her phone call to the sheriff’s department?

Michelle Tourville requested to be allowed to address the board in closed session.
