Carbondale city staff members are visiting residences in the northeast part of the city through the end of the month as they conduct housing surveys to gather information for future grants.
City staff will be conducting the surveys and collecting data from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at residences, a posting on the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce website said.
The information will help the city find a focus area in the northeast part of the city for grants for rehabilitation. The public is welcome to be a part of the survey, the posting said.
“The survey will consist of demographics and economic and housing-related questions that are required by the state for housing rehabilitation assistance,” the posting said. “Surveys will take approximately five minutes to complete.”
All data and information will remain private based on the Privacy Act of 1974.
