Carbondale Fire Department responded to 622 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the Carbondale Reporter.
The calls in Carbondale included 93 fires - 39 structure fires, 12 vehicle fires and 38 other fires. The fire department also responded to four calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $372,865 in fire loss - or about $4,009 per fire.
The department also received 529 false calls, including 80 malicious calls and 449 other false calls.
The calls resulted in three civilian fire-related injuries and one civilian fire-related death.
