The city of Marion met Dec. 1 to approve the fire department's parking lot repavement.

CITY OF MARION - SPECIAL MEETING December 1, 2016
Minutes of a Special Meeting held at Marion City Hall Thursday December 1, 2016 at 4:30 P.M. Mayor Sutler called the meeting to order. The roll call response was as follows:
PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Commissioner Hightower, Webb and Goss and Mayor Butler.
ABSENT: Commissioner Rinella
Mayor Butler stated the Special Meeting having given notice of the Special Meeting forty-eight hours prior to the meeting as stated in 05/ILCS 120/2.02 with the reason for the Special Called Meeting being as follows:
1. Council approval of bid for Marion fire Department parking lots and drive repavement. This will be a Hub TIP project.
Engineer Glenn Clarida presented the bids for the Fire Station concrete repaving.

Commissioner Webb made a motion to approve the low bid of Marion Concrete at $76,110.12. Commissioner Goss seconded the motion.
ON ROLL CALL VOTE COMMISSIONERS HIGHTOWER, WEBB AND GOSS AND MAYOR BUTLER ALL VOTED YEA.

Commissioner Hightower made a motion to adjourn the meeting with Commissioner Goss seconding the motion,
