Terri Bryant, Illinois State Senator representing the 58th District, posted a series of updates on her social media account between November 7 and November 9, 2025. The posts addressed incidents at Pinckneyville Correctional Center and political activities in southern Illinois.

On November 7, Bryant reported an incident during her visit to Pinckneyville Correctional Center: "Toured Pinckneyville CC today to follow up on mail scan, drug exposures, and IDOC policy. 10 minutes before our tour 3 staff were assaulted by an inmate. All 3 sent to the hospital. The institution was NOT placed on lockdown. DISGRACEFUL!!! Praying for the injured staff." (November 7, 2025). She expressed concern about the facility's response following the assault of three staff members who were hospitalized.

The following day, Bryant shared a link without additional commentary: "https://t.co/TUw0fRMNW4" (November 8, 2025).

On November 9, she commented on a political event in McLeansboro: "Great show of support for Republican candidates last night in Mcleansboro. Outstanding event Hamilton County Republican Central Committee! https://t.co/2GdxpAuASW" (November 9, 2025).

Bryant has served as state senator since her election in 2021 after succeeding Paul Schimpf as representative of Illinois' 58th Senate District.
