State Representative Dave Severin (R-Benton) has recognized National Manufacturing Day, highlighting the contributions of Illinois’ manufacturing sector. In a statement released Friday, Severin expressed his appreciation for workers and companies in the industry.
“I want to thank the hard working men and women of Illinois’ manufacturing sector,” Severin said. “National Manufacturing Day is designed to celebrate the Illinois manufacturers who drive our state forward through innovation, investment, job creation, and so much more. Thank you to the manufacturers across our state making Illinois a great place to live, work, and grow. Happy National Manufacturing Day!”
Severin has served as a Republican member of the Illinois State House since 2023. He represents the 116th House District after succeeding former representative David Friess.
The announcement was posted on an official state website that prohibits campaign-related content due to ethics regulations.
