State Representative Dave Severin (R-Benton) has issued a statement in recognition of National Women’s Health and Fitness Day. The event, observed annually, is intended to promote health and wellness among women.

“National Women’s Health and Fitness Day encourages women to make health and wellness a priority. It’s a reminder that small, consistent steps can lead to lasting results,” Severin said. “Today, we highlight the importance of preventive care, active living, and balance.”

Severin has represented Illinois’ 116th House District since 2023, succeeding David Friess in the role.
