Marion Senior Fair connects local seniors with resources and elected officials

State Representative Paul Jacobs, along with Representative Patrick Windhorst and Senator Dale Fowler, organized a free Senior Fair in Marion on Tuesday. The event was designed to provide local senior citizens with information about available services and programs. Attendees had access to health screenings and the opportunity to discuss their concerns directly with elected officials.

The fair featured representatives from state offices, healthcare providers, and community groups who offered details on various support programs for seniors. The Marion High School Choir opened the event by performing the National Anthem.

Jacobs, a Republican, began serving in the Illinois State House in 2023 after being elected to represent the 118th House District. He succeeded Patrick Windhorst in this role.
