Wednesday, April 9: Herrin High School standout Jersey Summers’ college team loses to Purdue Boilermakers

On Wednesday, April 9, former Herrin High School standout Jersey Summers’ current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.

The game took place at Bittinger Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Boilermakers this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Williams Field against Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.
