Sunday, March 30: Murphysboro High School standout Sarah Cook’s college team wins to Belmont Bruins

On Sunday, March 30, former Murphysboro High School standout Sarah Cook’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their third matchup against the Bruins this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium against Indiana State Sycamores.
