An engaging event is approaching for Saluki men's basketball supporters, as the team prepares for its annual golf outing. The Saluki Scramble is slated for June 26, 2025, and will take place at Kokopelli Golf Club in Marion, Illinois.

Those attending can expect to see athlete and coach appearances and bid on exclusive items during the event’s auction. A team ticket, priced at $1,000 for six individuals, includes a golf ticket, lunch, a gift, and access to the reception.

Proceeds from the golf event will aid the Saluki NIL fund, designed to assist student-athletes in benefiting from their name, image, and likeness. The fund aims to offer opportunities for player development in today's competitive college sports environment.

Participation in the event signifies more than playing golf; it allows supporters to invest in the success of Saluki athletes.

The schedule for June 26 includes:

- 10 a.m.: Brunch and check-in

- 11 a.m.: Golf start

- 4:30 p.m.: Reception check-in

- 5:45 p.m.: Conclusion of silent auction and raffle activities

Sponsorship opportunities are available, and inquiries can be directed to Kat Martin, Director of Development, at katm@foundation.siu.edu. The venue, Kokopelli Golf Club, is situated at 1527 Champions Drive in Marion, Illinois.
