Murphysboro High School recently shared a series of tweets, offering updates on school activities and achievements. The posts highlighted the travels of their band and chorus, as well as a recent victory for their baseball team.

On March 20, 2025, Murphysboro High School extended wishes to its students involved in musical activities: "Safe travels to the Crimson Express Band, and MHS Chorus as they travel to New York!!! Be Safe, Enjoy, and Good Luck!" The message underscores the school's support for its music program participants heading to New York.

Later that day, the school celebrated a sports achievement: "Red Devils Baseball picks up a Big W vs. Marion!!!" This tweet recognized the baseball team's victory over Marion.
