Southern Illinois University guards Kennard Davis Jr. and Ali Dibba have been recognized by the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) for their outstanding performances this season. The league office announced on Wednesday that Davis has been named to the Second Team, while Dibba earned a spot on the Third Team.

Davis, a sophomore from St. Louis, has had a standout season, leading his team in scoring with an average of 16.3 points per game, which places him fourth in the MVC rankings. He also contributes 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Davis tops his team in several categories including three-point percentage at 36.9%, minutes played at 33.9 per game, and free throw percentage at 76.3%. He has scored over 20 points nine times this season and achieved four double-doubles. Notably, he scored a season-high of 26 points against Murray State.

Ali Dibba, hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, is SIU's leading scorer in his debut season with an average of 16.8 points per game, ranking third in the MVC scoring list. He has scored ten or more points in 28 games this season and achieved a personal best of 33 points during an away game at Belmont. Dibba leads the MVC and ranks nationally for field goals made with a total of 201 this season. Additionally, he averages 4.6 rebounds, two assists, and approximately one and a half steals per game.
