Southern Illinois University's men's golf team is set to participate in the Hal Williams Collegiate tournament in Mobile, Alabama. The competition will take place on February 10 and 11, with the Salukis facing off against twelve other teams. Over two days, they will play a total of 54 holes—36 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
Representing Southern Illinois are Leon Heitz, Anthony De Schutter, Carsen Silliman, Lucas Lasley, and Oliver Ulrich. The tournament will be held at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course. This course measures 7,059 yards and features a par-71 layout. It has previously hosted both the LPGA tour and the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.
This marks the Salukis' first tournament of the spring season following their second-place ranking in the MVC Coaches preseason poll.
