Southern Illinois University (SIU) head football coach Nick Hill has confirmed the signing of 14 high school seniors to join the Class of 2025. This addition brings the total number of new recruits to 35, all set to begin their college football careers as true freshmen next fall.

The recruits include a range of positions and notable achievements. Lincoln Acree from Graves County High School in Kentucky accumulated over 2,300 all-purpose yards and received multiple honors including Louisville Courier Journal All-State Second-Team. Brendan Bisgrove, an offensive lineman from Oswego High School in Illinois, helped his team remain undefeated during the regular season.

Alex Broshears from Reitz Memorial High School in Indiana holds several tackle records and has been recognized on numerous occasions for both athletic and academic excellence. Liam Carney, another offensive lineman hailing from Wauconda High School in Illinois, was a consistent starter throughout his high school career.

Cam Cason led Francis Howell High School in Missouri to a state championship and is also an accomplished track athlete. Kaden Clay from Frederick Douglas High School in Kentucky earned all-state recognition while contributing significantly to his team's defensive efforts.

Ryan Coby from Cardinal Newman High School in Florida played just two years but made significant impacts with numerous tackles and sacks. Tristan Cooke-Dennis contributed to Westfield High School's record-breaking offense in Indiana.

Wide receiver Tristen Payne from Milton High School in Arkansas achieved back-to-back state championships with his team. Chris Potter from Kirkwood High School in Missouri is ranked among the top ten receivers at his school and has been part of successful playoff runs.

Arshawn Powell showcased versatility at Evergreen Park High School in Illinois with impressive stats both offensively and defensively. Owen Rann, a quarterback from Harrisburg High School, led his team consistently into playoffs and maintained excellent academic performance throughout high school.

Chase Reynolds excelled as both quarterback and defensive back at Collinsville High School in Illinois while Gavin Tinch from Prairie Ridge High School brought strength to the defensive line.

These players are expected to bring diverse skills and experiences to Southern Illinois University's football program under Coach Nick Hill's leadership.
