The Southern Illinois men's golf team has been ranked second in the Missouri Valley Conference Coaches preseason poll. The Salukis garnered 86 points, placing them just behind Illinois State, which topped the poll with 99 points and received nine first-place votes.
The Salukis are set to begin their season at the Hal Williams Collegiate event in Mobile, Alabama. The tournament will take place on Monday, February 10, at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course.
