Southern Illinois University Salukis Women's Softball | Southern Illinois University Athletics
Kaytee Dahlstrom and Sage Grann from the Southern Illinois University softball team have been included in Softball America's Freshman Watch List. The announcement was made on Tuesday.
Dahlstrom, a right-handed pitcher from Meridian, California, attended Sutter Union High School. During her time there, she won State Sectionals as a junior and participated in volleyball and basketball.
Grann hails from Kansas City, Kansas, and is versatile as both an infielder and outfielder. She earned First Team All-Conference honors three times at Piper High School and was named First Team All-State as a senior.
The Salukis will start their 2025 season on Friday, February 7th against Appalachian State at 10 a.m. in Auburn, Alabama.
