Murphysboro High School, a part of the Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 in Illinois, recently shared several updates on social media. These posts highlight events and activities taking place within the school community.

On December 3, 2024, Murphysboro High School announced the commencement of their basketball season with a post stating: "Red Devils Boys Basketball starts tonight!"

Later that day, an invitation was extended to students for a multicultural event at the MHS Library. The post read: "In the MHS Library today, Tuesday, December 3nd, from 3:15-4:00pm... Come meet and interact with some students from Colombia and Japan who are studying at SIUC's Center for English as a Second Language. Multicultural Club members, bring a friend or two." This event aimed to foster cultural exchange among students.
