Murphysboro HS celebrates student-athletes' achievements in football and golf

Murphysboro High School recently highlighted several of its students' achievements in sports through a series of tweets. The school celebrated the accomplishments of individual athletes and teams in football and golf.

On November 26, 2024, Murphysboro High School congratulated Tyjaire Kellum for being named the SIRR Ohio Football Offensive Player of the Year. The announcement was made via a tweet that stated: "Congratulations Tyjaire Kellum - SIRR Ohio Football Offensive Player of the Year!"

Later that day, on November 26, 2024, Murphysboro High School also acknowledged Parker Diehl's achievement in golf. A tweet read: "Congratulations Parker Diehl on earning SIRR Golf All-Conference honors!"

Additionally, on November 26, 2024, Murphysboro High School expressed pride in its football team with another tweet stating: "Congratulations to our Red Devils represented on the SIRR Football All Conference Team!"
