Southern Illinois volleyball concludes regular season at Missouri State

Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball team is set to conclude its regular season with a match against Missouri State. The game will take place on Wednesday in Springfield, Missouri, with the first serve scheduled for 4 p.m. Fans can follow the action through live stats or by streaming on ESPN+.

The Bears have historically dominated the series with a 61-26 record against the Salukis. However, Southern Illinois has emerged victorious in their last five encounters, including a win earlier this season on September 19 in a five-set match.

Key players from Southern Illinois have made significant contributions this season. Anna Jaworski has moved up to second place in school history with 3,686 assists. Larissa Seger ranks eighth in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) for her hitting percentage of 29.5% and holds ninth place in total blocks (89) and blocks per set (0.88). Annabelle Sulish stands tenth in kills within The Valley with 332 and ninth in total points at 374.5.

Cecilia Bulmahn achieved seven aces during an October 12 match against UIC, tying for the highest number of aces in a three-set match this season within The Valley. She also ranks tenth in digs (403) and eighth in digs per set (3.99).

The Salukis have shown resilience throughout the season with a record of 6-3 in five-set matches and hold MVC highs for assists (78) and attack percentage (30.4%) achieved during their October 19 game at Indiana State.
