Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Oct. 21.

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Monday, October 21, 2024 at 1:32 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:

Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Jim Marlo, Commissioner

Jim Rasor, Commissioner

Mark Dillon, Eggemeyer & Associates, Ryan Farley, Farley Engineering present for an update on the Animal Control Facility.

Motion made by Tim Atkisson and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving authorization for Jim Marlo to sign off on Nationwide Permit Pre-Construction Notification Permit Application for Animal Control Facility. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Discussion had with DEVNET representatives, Scott Lavinsky and Andy, Project Manager, both by phone. Follow up meeting will take place October 29, 2024 to get price quotes from company.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor to move into Executive Session citing 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(5). Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Regular session opened at 3:18 p.m. with Tim Atkisson, Jim Marlo and Jim Rasor present.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo,
