The Southern Illinois University men's golf team is set to participate in the Ka'anapali Classic in Lahaina, Hawaii. The tournament will commence on Saturday, November 2, and run through Monday, November 4. The Salukis will compete against 21 other teams over the course of three days, playing 18 holes each day.

Representing the Salukis are Leon Heitz, Anthony De Schutter, Carsen Silliman, Lucas Lasley, Oliver Ulrich, and Jan Wdowka as an individual competitor. The event takes place at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course, a par-71 course spanning 6,700 yards. This course is one of two in Hawaii designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.

In their previous outing at the Everett Buick GMC Classic, the Salukis finished 14th out of 16 teams. Anthony De Schutter led his team with a score of 223 (+7).

The Ka'anapali Classic is also supporting families affected by the Maui wildfires—Hawaii's largest natural disaster. Contributions to this cause can be made without a minimum donation requirement.

Live scoring for the tournament will be available for those interested in following along.
