Southern Illinois University's women's volleyball team is set to continue their Missouri Valley Conference matches this weekend, facing UIC and Valparaiso. The games will conclude a four-match homestand for the Salukis in Carbondale, Illinois.

The match against UIC is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., while the game against Valparaiso will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m., which will also be marked as Beach/Youth Night. Both matches will feature live statistics and streaming options.

In terms of series history, Southern Illinois holds a 15-9 lead over UIC, despite being swept by them on October 12 in Chicago. Against Valparaiso, the Salukis recently broke a six-match losing streak with a win on October 11. However, Valpo still leads the series with an 11-6 record.

Several players are approaching significant milestones and rankings within the conference. Larissa Seger stands seventh in hitting percentage within the MVC and ranks fifth in total blocks. Annabelle Sulish is tenth in total kills and ninth in total points within The Valley.

Cecilia Bulmahn notably achieved seven aces during their last match against UIC on October 12, marking the highest number in a three-set match this season. She ranks among the top ten in aces per set and digs both total and per set.

The Salukis have demonstrated resilience this season with a 6-3 record in five-set matches and have achieved notable high marks for kills and attack percentage during their match against Indiana State on October 19.
