The Southern Illinois University men's golf team is set to participate in the Everett Buick GMC Classic in Little Rock, Arkansas. The tournament will take place over two days, starting on Monday, October 14. The Salukis will compete against 14 other teams, playing 36 holes on the first day and 18 holes on the second.

Representing Southern Illinois are Anthony De Schutter, Oliver Ulrich, Leon Heitz, Frank Bellino, and Carsen Silliman. The event will be held at Chenal Country Club, a course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., measuring 7,115 yards with a par of 72.

The team aims to improve after their performance at the Badger Invitational where they finished in 13th place with a score of 903 (+39). Anthony De Schutter had a notable performance at that event, tying for 17th place with a score of 217 (+1), including an impressive start with rounds of 71 (-1).
