The Southern Illinois University men's golf team is set to compete in its second tournament of the fall season at the Purdue Fall Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana. The event will feature 15 teams and will span two days, starting Sunday with 36 holes and concluding Monday with 18 holes.

The Salukis' squad for this tournament includes Anthony De Schutter, Frank Bellino, Leon Heitz, Carsen Silliman, and Jan Wdowka. Additionally, Oliver Ulrich and Lucas Lasley will participate as individual golfers.

The competition will take place on the Kampen-Cosler Course, which covers 7,546 yards and is a par-72 event. This course is recognized as one of the most challenging in Indiana and among the top collegiate courses nationwide.

Lucas Lasley will make his debut for the Salukis in West Lafayette. A local talent from Anna, Illinois, Lasley transferred from John A. Logan College as part of the 2024 class and had a successful year with two wins during the NCJAA season.
