Giant City Community Consolidated School District 130 Board met Sept. 16.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

PUBLIC HEARING - BUDGET FOR 2024-2025

A Legal Notice, as prescribed by law, was published and a Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025), has been available for public inspection since 9:00 a.m. August 12, 2024. The School Code of Illinois requires that a Public Hearing be conducted prior to formal adoption of the Budget by the Board of Education. The Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer will present a summary of the budget and will respond to questions by those attending the Hearing as well as members of the Board of Education. All those who wish to be heard on the budget are invited to make their comments after the formal presentation.

VISITOR PARTICIPATION: Anyone who wishes to address the Board may request to be recognized at this time. When recognized, please give your name. Statements are to be limited to five (5) minutes in duration.
