Village of Yates City Board of Trustees met Oct. 11.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

4. Approval of Minutes for September 13th Board Meeting and October 4th Committee Meeting.

5. Approval of Monthly Bills, Payroll and Financial Statements

6. Citizens to address the Board

7. Police Report – Randy Benson

NEW BUSINESS:

8. Discussion and possible action on bids for stump grinding & removal, tree removal and removal of wood pile from South lot on Burson St., 412 S. Kellogg, and 401 N, Union St.

9. Discussion and possible action on purchasing of water main item repairs.

10. Discussion and possible action for approval of lodging, mileage, meals and expenses for the Village President to attend a 2-day workshop for the CDBG and for Trustee Mark Hostetler to attend part of the workshop.

11. Discussion and possible action on invoice of $275.00 for Neely Carr for transferring of emails.

12. Discussion regarding replacement of Attorney Wayne Statham due to retirement.

13. Discussion and possible action on setting salaries for Elected Officials, Treasurer and City Clerk for May 2024.

14. Discussion and possible action on a placement of an ad for the Farmington Sports Program.

15. Discussion on extra hours for Sam Hostetler, and also if he would be needed for winter snow plowing.
