Illinois State Rep. Paul Jacobs (R-Pomona) recently attended a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of a Pure Pet in Marion.
Jacobs shared his experience and photos in an Aug. 23 Facebook post.
"Pure Pet now open in Marion! Great crowd welcoming a new venture in Williamson County," Jacobs said in his post. "This adds to the Pure Pet in Carbondale. It is such an honor to be with these forward thinking business people all over our district. Bring your pets for a wash!! and treats galore!"
Jacobs won the GOP bid to the Illinois House in the June primary, and is not facing a challenger for the November election, the Carbondale Reporter previously reported.
Jacobs recently shared information on free healthcare available to residents of Carbondale in July.
The state representative also recently voiced his opinion on the effects of inflation on in Illinois.
Jacobs is a state representative who resides in Pomona, according to the Illinois House. He was first elected to the Illinois House in 2020. A Republican, his legislative experience includes serving on the Tourism Committee and Higher Education.
